Our story is the culmination of hard work and efforts of a husband and wife team. Our journey began with Kabob and Curry in 1990. We worked hard to represent Indian Cuisine in a way that would allow us to break the “Curry Taboo”.
After 16 long fruitful years where we raised two kids, we decided to open Rasoi – meaning Kitchen. The restaurant did not go unnoticed and the accolades have allowed us to open our third location RASA in East Greenwich.
About the Chef
Qualified and trained in Austria, India, and US, Chef Dhar worked in various Hotels before arriving in Providence. Since 1987, his Restaurant Kabob and Curry has been awarded many accolades. He is a speaker, chef instructor, author and a cooking show host on television.
